Just wondering what to do with the immense amount of material that LarryG has placed on the site, which by the way is very much appreciated. As a comparative newcomer I was wondering how to go about converting it to e-sword 9. It's not much good having it on site and not being able to use at least the very best of it and there appears to be a lot of good stuff there!! Has anyone converted the files as I
notice there has been quite a number of downloads? If so then perhaps you would be kind enough to share your expertise or even put the converted files on the site for the benefit of those of us who are not very technically minded. Thanks in anticipation of your response.

Hi Gerald,

For the past 3 years I've scoured the Internet Archive, Google Books and other sites looking for resources. Of the thousands of resources I accumulated (some good/some bad) I made over 50+ modules. All of those modules were either topic modules or devotional modules and are already uploaded to BibleSupport - you should not find them amongst the Raw Resources pages. The Raw Resource packages are books that I will not be able to convert because of my lack of skill or time - none of us live forever. I realized that I could never get to all these books (thank you Mr. Blake) and wanted someone to have the opportunity to bless God's body by making eSword modules with these PDF books. There are easily another 2000 raw resources I can upload in the future; tomorrow, next week or next month.

About people who have downloaded these resources - It takes time to proofread a 400 page book 2-3 times and get everything correct; and still their are mistakes I make - but people are doing their best just like you and I do our best. Look on these raw resources as seeds that are planted. We'll know what God will do with them in 3-9 months by the type of fruit produced. Time is the issue. Time and skill.

About skill - Gerald, honestly, I have very little computer or software skill. The software that I use is OpenOffice 3.4, Notepad++, ToolTip 3.4 and eSword - all FREE. I've discovered that the way I make modules is very backwards in relation to the way others hint at how they make theirs - but I had few specific instructions either, and I'm not a quick learner! LOL Honestly, if you want further information how I made my topic or devotional modules I would be willing to send you a copy of my files over a specific book - I keep all my masters and can describe how I made the modules. BUT, I'm convinced that others are better at making modules, with better techniques than mine.

If you sincerely want to know the quickest and fastest way to convert any of these resources then my suggestion is to contact any one of these people, they are ALL very competent and usually willing to help.

Hi

Larry G, I like the way you said VERY ... with lots of zeal. it's funny :-). I was self taught. with helps I can find anywhere. A lot of trail and error.

I am a Designer by nature, I used the gift in Designing (making) clothes and now I use it in making modules. I get a kick out of creating something. I know what or how God created me. I know how to use the gift, - Natural to Spiritual gifts.

Josh, BH, and others helped me understand Word and T3. The first time I used T3 I was making all kinds of errors. Doc T said to me that he uses it a lot. So I had to find out more about T3. And now I make all my modules using T3 (need more understanding Bibles).

thanks and if anybody need any help making modules Please ASK.

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
