In December 2003, Pocket e-Sword for Pocket PC 2002 was released.
On 12 December 2004, Pocket e-Sword for Pocket PC 2002 v 2.5.2 was released.
On 13 December 2009 Pocket PC for Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional v 3.2.0 was released.

On 13 December 2009, official support for Pocket e-Sword ceased.
On 31 December 2009, eStudySource officially ceased to sell Pocket e-Sword resources.
Unofficially, eStudySource continued to sell Pocket e-Sword resources until January 2012, and possibly more recently than that.

Simple Bible Reader should handle the conversions easily:

Now, if my understanding/guess is correct, Pocket e-Sword resources were same as the old top, bbl etc (Microsoft's Access DB) used on pre e-Sword 9x days. So, as to whether or not the Simple Bible Reader can revert a e.g., a bbli or bblx file to a bbl one, I have extreme doubts about that. I could be wrong about that, and would be more than willing to admit it if it was actually shown or demonstrated to me. However, reading the documentation, you can only convert from the old format to the newer format. So, as the old saying goes, "There's no going back."

Blessings,
