I just ran into the same problem: all Cepher files are  in the e-Sword folder and still - after re-starting - no success. Please help - anyone?

If you are using a e-Sword version 11, 12 or 13 you may need to convert the module to the html format using the converter available at e-Sword.net

To use the "Compare" option in e-Sword, in the Bible Maximized (Ctrl+F2), there is another added option. Click on the "Bible" tab option at the top left, then click on the "Bible Compare Settings", then in the "Compare Options" you will find a list, of different Bibles which you can select, with a slider down the window. The slider is on the right-side of the window. Now select the specific Bibles which you want to see in the Compare list, by moving the pointer over the check-box next to the relevant entry, and left-click so that there will be a tick in the check-box for each of these Bibles. Then move the pointer over the "OK" button, and left-click with the pointer hovered over the "OK" button.

To use the "Parallel" option in e-Sword, in the Bible Maximized (Ctrl+F2), there is another added option. Click in one of the eight text boxes. Here you will find a list of various Bibles which you can select. Now select the specific Bible which you want to see in the Parallel list, in that column, by moving the pointer over the check-box next to the relevant entry, and left-click so that there will be a tick in the check-box for one of these Bibles. Then move the pointer to the next column heading, where there is a heading text box, and again select the bible you want to see here. Repeat the same option as for the first column. NOTE: If there is an extra verse in the chapter in the Bible in the first column, that will work okay. However, if the total list of verses in the first column is LESS than in subsequent Bibles in later columns, then the list of verses stops at the end of the one in column 1. To overcome this, shuffle the column order.

Robert Stephens first numbered chapter and verses in the NT in his edition of a Latin NT in (1551). This verse numbering is copied by AFV. The KJV (1611 and 1769) verse numbering is used by most other Bibles. Catholic Bibles often have other numbering in the OT, especially for Psalms where both chapter and verse numbering changes. So, if you are writing Bible Study Notes for a Commentary, specify carefully which Bibles you use as your source, so that Protestants, and Catholics, who follow along in their Bibles, will understand why verse and chapter numbers differ between your Bible, and their own Bible which they have open in front of them on their study desk.

Some Bibles copy Greek, others Hebrew, chapter and verse numbering in the OT and in the Apocrypha.

ADDED NOTE: Rick Meyers has added "Cepher" as a downloadable option Bible. Download, and use this one in your Parallel column.
