The search tool for e-sword on my computer has quit working. Has anyone else every expereinced this problem? If so, how did you go about fixing it. I have tried the reset option, i have updated to the newest edition, and I have even unistalled and reinstalled. This leads me to believe that there is another program running that is interefering, but not sure how to fix that, any thoughts are appreciated.

Hi

does the search window open

what bible version is in the bible window

what are you searching for

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

The search tool I am refering to is the binoculars at the top that allows you to search for a word or phrase. It simply will not open.

I am thinking there is something on my computer causeing it and not the e-sword program, because I have deleted and unistalled e-sword and reinstalled it and it still does not work.

This leads me to believe that there is another program running that is interefering, but not sure how to fix that,

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to start the Task Manager

Look to the CPU usage (from me is it only 2%) and Physical  memory(from me is it 33%)

Remember what programs are open and End Task of the selected programs.
