File Name: Brownlow, Leroy - Sermon in the Methodist Church

File Submitter: BaptizedBeliever

File Submitted: 21 Oct 2012

File Category: Reference Books (refx)

Author: Leroy Brownlow

In 1958, the Grace Methodist Church in Fort Worth, TX, hosted a series of meetings, and asked speakers from different religious groups to speak at each meeting. The speakers were instructed to give a sermon detailing their religious group's beliefs and practices. The Grace Methodist Church was of the opinion that if you wanted to know something about a religious group and what it believes, there was no better way to learn than to have one of that religious group.

Leroy Brownlow (1914-2002) was the speaker chosen to speak about the church of Christ. This 40+ page book contains the text of his sermon.

Brownlow is best known for his many inspirational books (many still in pint), as well as "Some Do's and Don'ts for a Christian", and "Why I am a Member of the Church of Christ."

To my knowledge, the other speakers' lessons were never made into book form.

The copyright on this book was not renewed, making it public domain.

It is available in pdf format here.
