Search function not working

e-Sword is a wonderful tool but I'm having some trouble with my copy. The search function across the software (including Extended Search) does not work, returning 0 responses immediately. Only RegEx functions seem to work. The SermonAudio feature also does nothing after clicking the button.
I'm running Windows XP on an Acer AspireOne notebook (as a sidenote, these issues seem similar to some experienced in crossover for Linux).
If anyone could help it would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Are you really running Windows XP?
( Excuse my skepticism, but your description is of the major/only functionality that CrossOver/WINE users experience, that Windows users do not experiance.)
- Which version of Windows XP are you running?
- Which edition of Windows XP are you running?
- Are you using the 32 bit, or 64 bit version of Windows XP.
- What version of .NET is installed
- What version of MIE is installed;
- How much RAM does your system have?
- How much RAM is e-Sword using?

Yep, it really is XP.
I also send a troubleshoot through to Rick Meyers, who pretty promtly gave me a couple of registry changes to make. The search has been working fine since then. Sermon Audio still won't load but I can live without it.
So, thanks for your concern but I suppose I'm OK now.
Three cheers for Mr. Meyers!

Run the following commands from the "Run" dialog (accessed by selecting
"Start" from the taskbar, then choosing "Run"):
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msxml6.dll
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\vbscript.dll
You may want to copy and paste the command, rather than typing it in.
You should get a "succeeded" message on each command when run.

Having the same problem on a Mac (Mountain Lion) with Crossover (2.1.2). The search doesn't work properly.
TESTED results when using the Bible search...
Search for all of the words - NO Results
Search for any of the words - NO Results
Search for the exact phrase - NO Results
Regular Expressions (REGEX) - YES Results
Any ideas or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.
