I had a bible from version 9/10 that was working in version 10.0.5, but no longer works since I upgraded to 10.1. I noticed that the data in the bblx file is now blob data. All that I have read on the e-Sword site seems to indicate the bible should still work. How can I get my bible back?

Whats the name of the Bible? Can you post it here or is it copyrighted? Is it a premium Bible sold by estudysource.com or e-Sword.net?

NKJV. I have had this module for a few years. My understanding was that as long as I own at least one physical copy of this version (I own several), that it was acceptable to use it in e-Sword.

This module is sold by estudysource.com/e-sword.net. You should return there and ask them what your license key is for this product and how to download it in its proper format.

Hi ApologetixFan

If that module was bought from estudysource, you should ask them as Josh suggests.

But if that is a module you built yourself (that is, it's not the official module), you need to change its abbreviation, since e-Sword won't display a module with that abbreviation unless it's the official one. You need to change the NKJV to something else (e.g. NKJVe).

You can use the e-Sword Tab Renamer tool from the downloads section to do that.

Regards,

Carlos

I have the same problem with the exact same version - the NKJV.
I have had this for several years also, and since I upgraded to 10.1, it doesn't work anymore.

Tried the Tab Renamer, and changed it to NKJVe as suggested, and it is now working in eSword.
Weird.

Hi bbacle

Weird.

I'm glad it's fixed.

It's not that weird, it's an intentional feature. I guess to prevent the use of modules that violate copyright, modules with the same abbreviations as the official ones are blocked and are not displayed. Just change the abbreviation and it works.

Regards,

Carlos
