Thanks to Jonathan and Ben's help, the Chinese commentary parsing problem has been solved. But there's another question: in English commentaries, if there's a reference for a certain verse, say, Jer 43:15, it will automatically appear as a link. And, if the mouse is hovered on it, the related scripture will appear. But in Chinese it seems not working. I mean, if I put 耶43:15 in the commentary, it will only be recognized as text. How can I create reference link for Chinese scriptures in Chinese commentary?

T3 allows users to create their own Bible Abbreviation list to tooltip resources. I don't know if can correctly handle CJKV. Try it and see what happens.

If it doesn't work, then the Scripture Reference Module in CPAN would be the starting point for creating a CJKV tooltipping utility for e-Sword.

I realize that my answer is basically "Write the utility you need in PERL". CJKV handling routines are so different from those used for the Latin writing system, that it is always to write from scratch something to handle them, then retrofit an existing program to handle CJKV. FWIW, the same thing applies to BiDi writing systems, and Indus Valley writing systems.

Thank you! But T3 seems not like CJKV. When I opened the raw texts, T3 just displayed messy words:(


Does e-sword accept the style like HTML's <a href> tag? If so, I can tag something like <a href="Gen_1:1>创1:1</a> so it could reference Chinese scriptures.
