I'm sorry to hear that. Stroke's can be so devastating and cruel. I pray that your son-in-law will recover as fast as possible and your family will have strength while they help.

Thanks for your prayers, folks. The stroke seems to be minor. Major memory problems but initial indicators are that it is quickly coming back. The speech center problems will require a lot of therapy. No paralysis but a definite weakness on his right side. Again therapy is in order. All in all, it is good news and the prognosis is for a near complete recovery given time, appropriate therapy and no further complications. Thanks again.

I will pray for your son- in- law. I know how davastating it can be. My mother had stroke on March 1997. I have been taking care of her eversince. Most people think that the

only casualty is the patient. They forget that those who love them are also suffering.

Good news for sure! Trust therapy does its job - not that it will probably be easy.
