What's Still Broken As Of e-Sword 11.06?

I experienced this problem using ver. 11.0.3 without knowing that 11.0.5 was available. This issue has been taken care of with 11.0.5.
I found that copying and inserting a text into a module I am working on will add an unwanted space plus paragraph symbol which needs to be deleted. Because of this, I have reinstalled 10.4.0 for my module work.

I've been meaning to post this for a while.
e-Sword 11 likes to blink at me. No, I'm not making this up!
[Fixed in 11.06]
It's rather annoying. Sometimes I can re-produce the blink. Sometimes it's seemingly random, such as when I'm typing in another program, like Sublime.

Hey Josh,
I got the same thing every time I copied a verse using the copy verse feature...the e-sword icon on my task bar would blink yellow.....EXTREMELY ANNOYING

Incorrect search matches in Greek Bibles.
Windows 10 64bit. e-Sword 11.0.5.
Bible search in new HTML spec file. Official module.
Search for παιδισκη in the Greek NT BYZ , no additional search options selected. Search for any/all words. Results are returned that include partial matches at Act 16:16; Gal 4:22; Gal 4:23; Gal 4:30; Gal 4:31
or ελαλουν
Partial match at Luke 4:36; Luke 6:11; Luke 9:30
Rick Meyers' reply is.
* In searching for Greek words in the commentaries, dictionaries, etc., the fail would have to do with their representation within the database. "Λογος" may be written as "λογος", or "λογος", or even "λογος" and still display as Λογος. Welcome to the world of HTML!

New format Hebrew Bibles do not follow the font settings for Hebrew. Similar for new format, ISBE dictionary, Strong's dictionary,
Rick Meyers' reply
As for your display concerns...
* The display control seems to have a mind of its own in the rendering of right-to-left languages. It is being told to use the correct font, but it is not doing so. I cannot fix what I didn't write.
* VB6 menus cannot display Unicode characters. This has always been a problem, and has been present in all previous versions of e-Sword. What you couldn't do before was right-click over these words and do a "Quick Search". So while the menu looks funny, you now have new functionality :-)

Thanks for sharing the info, Jon.
On the Text Control issue with Hebrew not showing the correct font, maybe this will be fixed by the makers of Text Control. Or maybe it already has? e-Sword is using an older, dated version of Text Control that also has that hyperlink bug we discussed on this website a while back.

I am having issues downloading and installing bible modules. (This problem has been present since 11.0.5) When I initiate a download (say bible modules), the download proceeds as normal, however the installation process is interuppted with an error message that states:
Error encountered opening Bible file C:\Programs Files (x86)\e-Sword\name of module.bblx
After a little digging, I found the temp directory where the modules are being downloaded to (which for me is c:\Users\my user id\AppData\Local\Temp\DownloadXCtrl\name of temp directory (changes each time)
In this temp directory, the files are downloaded with a .bblx.tdx file extension. To get the modules to load correctly into e-Sword, I copied the .bblx.tdx files over to the proper e-Sword directory and renamed them from .bblx.tdx to .bblx
It seems as though the logic to copy the .tdx files over to the proper e-Sword directory and rename them to .bblx is failing.
I have screen shots (I can't seem to attach them to this post...) detailing all of the above and hopefully can be addressed via a patch or updated release. I thought this would have been fixed in 11.0.6 but that didn't seem to be the case.
In terms of the operating system, I am running Windows 10 Home Edition (without the anniversary update installed).
