#27667 kjv tvm bible

Posted by Silverhair on 12 May 2016 - 02:39 PM

Hi TC

You were looking for  KJV + TVM.  I found it on my storage disk.  If you would like I can send it to you.  I have it zipped with PeaZip and the MD5 Hash is 1483D489942BC909DD65FBA27BB5C6AC

This is the KJV (1769) Strong's + TVM  The compressed file size is 2.2 mg.  Not sure of what copyright issue would be.

#5354 Useing E-Sword in Linux with Wine

Posted by Silverhair on 06 January 2012 - 01:06 AM

Hi Dave

I have been running mint 11 and ubuntu 11.10.  I am running wine 1.2.3 stable on both systems.  The following has worked for me with both systems.

Do this before installing E-sword:

Set oleaut32 to builtin in winecfg

In winetricks  install

msls31
msxml3  *
vbrun6
vcrun6
wsh57

Once these are installed  you can install E-sword and it should work.

*  To install msxml3  winetricks will open an MS download site where you can get the file.  Once downloaded put it in:   home/user-name/.cache/winetricks/msxml3

To find the .cache  type ctl-h while in your home dir to show the hidden files.   You my have to reselect the files to have winetricks install them

#4915 Have search work in 10.0.5 on linux systems

Posted by Silverhair on 23 December 2011 - 01:58 PM

Well I think I have come across an answer to this problem? I have tried it out on both systems Mint 11 and Ubuntu 11.10 and it is working for me.

I can't take credit for this answer as I came across it on the net. Sorry do not have the web address where I found it as it did not get printed out on my hard copy.

Do this B4 installing E-sword

Set oleaut32 to builtin in winecfg

Using Winetricks install

msls31
msxml3 **
vb6run
vcrun6
wsh57

Install E-sword

** You my get an error message in regard to this file. Winetricks should open a web page where you can download it from. Copy the file into the location listed in the error message. If you do not see the .cache folder press " Ctrl H " and this will show you the hidden files and folders. You will have to select the files again in Winetricks.

Hope this works for everyone

When I opened the NASB +  file in E-sword 10.0.5 it had these markings [ bold blue ].  What are they for?  What do they mean?  I did some searching via Google but no luck with an answer.   I tried holding over them and you get a list of verse ref's but not sure what they are for?
