In Topic: WPNT missing verse

Hi Olaf

I downloaded the file from Bible support. It comes as a Zip file. I use Pea zip to open the files and the extract them to the disk location that I want.

When I did this tonight I had not problem Joh 1.51 was there. Try using Pea zip and see what happens.

Just copied this from my copy of WPNT

Joh 1:51 And He says to him, “I tell you (pl) most assuredly, later on you will see the heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”39

Try downloading it again.

In Topic: Commentary Names

01 February 2020 - 11:54 AM

So, I just purchased a nice, shiny new computer, and one of the first things I installed was e-Sword and then copied over my personal e-sword folder so that all of my study notes show up.

However, I've run into an annoying problem: The same version on my old computer has shorthand commentary names; for example, Keil & Delitzch is "K&D" on my old computer, but is spelled out on the new one.  Thus, the Commentaries no longer fit on a line; if i use the option to force them to be on one line, they scroll.

Did something change?  How can I get back the shorter names? (another couple of examples: "Adam Clarke" (new) used to be just "Clarke"; TSK Cross Reference was just "TSK").

An easier way to do this is to lookup

e-Sword Tab Renamer 1.5

This will allow you to change how the tabs are displayed.  Just Ctrl + Click on the link and it will open the download location.
