Just downloaded the software and trying to set-up and explore the power. I located the Preaching Truth vids and as I am going through, I noticed that I do not have all the features he is demostrating. Fundamentally, he has open, new, import, export, etc under File, but I just have Exit. He also shows an edit drop down and format drop down on the main menu. Any ideas?

I use EW Bullinger bible and tried to add this bible - no luck, then I downloaded the installer module with the double click feature - still no luck. any ideas?

The video was shot on an earlier version of e-Sword. That functionality is now available by CTRL-right clicking in the Editors window.

Bullinger's Bible? What's the link of the module you're trying to install? The version I see off-hand is self installing.

If the installer did it's job, you should have a .bblx file in your e-Sword root folder, the exact Bible name of Bullinger not sure. You may need to select the Bible if it didn't get pre-selected...

Go to Options - Resource, make sure the Bullinger Bible is available, if so put a check next to it, click OK.

If for some reason it's not in your e-Sword root folder provide details of what exactly you downloaded (link), and on your system - e-Sword xx.xx on Windows XP, 7, Linux etc. There are a few versions of e-Sword available now and a multitude of addons, your addons need to be compatible with your version of e-Sword. if your download doesn't specify an e-Sword version you may want to ask first to confirm it will work.

Oh, don't forget to make good use of the available guide in e-Sword 10 - with e-Sword open click Help or F1.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

The Companion Bible by E. W. Bullinger appears as EWB-CB in the Bible tabs.

Make sure that the module you down loaded is comparable with the version of e-Sword you are running.
If you are running version 9 or greater a module for version 8 or lower will not work and vice-verse.
Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, (Jeremiah 9:23-24a)

"Defenders of the faith are inclined to be bitter until they learn to walk in the light of the Lord. When you have learned to walk in the light of the Lord, bitterness and contention are impossible." --Oswald Chambers, in Biblical Psychology from The Quotable Oswald Chambers.
