#37118 Sharing Fonts

Posted by dan ramsey on 18 December 2019 - 01:53 PM

I made some Hebrew fonts I would like to share with the new 10+ As Written Hebrew Character Bible I just uploaded.  So how to I make them available?  I am not able to upload them.  Cannot attach them here either.

#29368 Hebrew New Testament with Strong's numbers

Posted by dan ramsey on 03 November 2016 - 10:38 AM

Working on it.  Started with a Hebrew Old and NT and added Strong's Hebrew numbers.  There are some errors I've been correcting as I add an English translation to a Hebrew form and pattern representation, but it already appears to be more than 90% correct.  However, working on an English translation that more closely follows the Hebrew syntax is challenging.  My focus is more on the Hebrew Pattern as it is written and translated than on the Biblical Hebrew that focuses more on how it is read and spoken because I believe the Greek better translates the Spirit of the spoken Word, However the Hebrew pattern of writing is woven into the expansive and mysterious sovereignty of the Almighty God with elements and compounds that display many un translated messages that the translated portions of scripture do reveal.

#28182 Features I would like to see in the new e-Sword

Posted by dan ramsey on 13 July 2016 - 07:49 AM

I would like to see a new Notes feature under the Editor page configured to Strong's Numbers possibly called "word notes" that would correspond to a dictionary module as Study Notes corresponds to a Commentary Module.

#26319 Error 321

Posted by dan ramsey on 30 October 2015 - 09:01 AM

Last week this error code started appearing when I changed verses in the compare bible window.  Now it appears when I open E-sword along with unknown format (1-240d), however, if I click on the ok button everything seems to work properly.  What do I need to fix? or correct to put this error to rest?

I looked for an error codes list, but I have not found one.

Thank you, anyone, for your help.

#25908 Hebrew Parts Grammatical parts of speech

Posted by dan ramsey on 04 September 2015 - 02:38 PM

You might check out the Hebrew for Christians web sight.  Begin with the grammatical functions of the aleph bet, alphabet.  I am in the process of putting together a Hebrew Scripture Representation that will show this and therefore identify the Hebrew root words in scripture along with the prefixes and suffixes as they are translated, however this will take considerable time a year or so to put together, because there are thousands and thousands of Hebrew word forms. If the Hebrew tokens were represented by English letters reading left to right the Hebrew phrase {בדבריו} would be represented as BDBRYW and translate as { B in DBRY words W his own} There is also a pocket electronic dictionary available at Hebrew for Christians, but I have been learning the slow way.  Hebrew is really a cool writing system that goes from cryptic to symbolic, emblematic, numeric, and algebraic to majestic, prophetic and finally unique and Holy.  May the LORD bless you efforts to seek him in his own writing pattern.
