#31586 KJV 2000 for iPad

Posted by Richard on 04 October 2017 - 01:53 AM

Ive uploaded the KJV2000.bbli file for iPad, iPhone and Mac for any one who's interested in it and loves the KJ Authorised but can't handle the archaic language.

I quote; 'The intent of King James 2000 is to keep every KJV word the same, unless a misunderstanding or a gross word order “error” (in today’s usage) must be averted..........Pronouns such as thy, thine, thou, ye, etc. are put into current language usage form. Verbal endings such as -eth, -est, -st, etc. are given equivalent forms of today’s language. Words so archaic as to be unknown, such as wist, wot, froward, etc. are rendered as their current synonyms.'

Can anyone be kind enough to upload a KJ2000.bbli for IOS eSword HD file. I don’t have a Windows operating system to convert the module on that’s on this site. Ive got this file on my MacBook Pro eSword X (I converted it to .bbli when I had Windows) but I don't know where this file resides on my Mac (Ive looked in Library). Ive got the KJ200.exe for Windows but I believe there is no converter which works with Mac OS.

Finally, to make me a REALLY happy bunny has anyone come across a KJ21; King James Version 21 Century Bible module. Ive just purchased it on OliveTree but prefer eSword.

Every blessing, Richard.

#31557 Apple iSync

Hi Apple eSword users. Has any one got the low down on Apple iSync? Glanced at an article just now on something called iSync? Wondering if it could potentially make it easier to sync eSword across IOS devices and Mac OS? Any comments, thoughts?

#30937 Dedicated Apple Mac OS X and iOS area?

Posted by Richard on 26 June 2017 - 12:28 AM

I can't find anywhere on this site an area dedicated to eSword for Apple Mac OS X and iOS. I'd just like to thank Rik for the updates to eSword HD and LT. Just got mine this morning for HD and am very pleased! For me, having gone over to Apple, Windows and Android are operating systems I only vaguely recall and don't miss one iota! Thanks Rik!

#30866 Installing E-Sword HD modules for IPAD from PC

Bit frustrated that there's no clear answer on this thread! All you have to do is drag the downloaded bbli module on your Mac to the eSword HD Documents in iTunes (plug your iPad in to your Mac!). Now fire up eSword or reboot it on the iPad and the module will disappear from the documents but will appear in your drop down list of available modules. You can delete it in the normal way. Love Apple the way its supposed to be - SAFE - and don't jailbreak!
