i have uploaded one of my studies modules into the TootTip Tool NT. when i go into module (4) to save as a commentary  i get pop up saying: "Missing variable definition at top of document. Define title equals = "

 

so it looks i have missed something out, can anyone advise please

Yep. Install PC edition of e-Sword on your Mac using Crossover.

goggled error tried various solutions. gutted:(

On e-sword on pc, the study notes option allows you to have different modules. So what i did is kept study notes for most of my updates (have over 6,000 bible verses). I then created a Sermons module where i had over 700 bible entries with one or more sermons. I then created another module for articles or links to web pages. Again, the great thing about using these modules is that are all linked to bible verses!!

 

Sadly e-sword X for Mac does not allow for multiple  notes modules!

 

Spoke to Rick he mentioned using the topics for the sermons/articles.. but then I lose the linkage to bible verses. Wondered if anyone had any other ideas?

Last week i had to use an old xp laptop i had. Whilost playing with it, the screensaver came on and it wa sthe Bible screensaver that was originally poblished by Rick I had forgotten all about that. it was wonderful to see it still tunning. So i thought would need to install on my iwndows 7. Went onto the e-sword site no sign of it. Does any one know if this has been created again sopmewhere. i tw as onderful to have bible verses appearing on the screen.

Wow Josh that is absolutely brilliant! I now have only two study notes 4000 short reflections/devotions and 356 sermons. that has saved me sooo much time thnak you. that tool seems to have an amazing amount of useful info
