In Topic: Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament

13 November 2023 - 08:25 PM

syntax, the arrangement of words in sentences, clauses, and phrases, and the study of the formation of sentences and the relationship of their component parts.--Britannica.

bottom line, it is grammar for NT Greek similar to Burton's wk.  It can help think more about the structure of the words.

Syntax is the following:

  • A line of code
  • A block of code such as code used in an if statement
  • Referring to all of the code for the program.--not too far off.

beep beep beep ....beep beep

Flash! to Mr. & Mrs. American and to all those out in sea.

UPDATE:

Hastings 5 vols DB

all 5 vols Finished proofread 99.9% w/o error.   all vols fonts & H fonts done. (very Tedious work)

H fonts: I tried my best.  Only until the last vol did I think of using google to check Aramaic words--Duh!!

footnote fixing, abbrv. & verse # modification needed.  I will revise few more.

Some articles revised, edited, updated.  Knowledge of G & H helps but not necessary.  too much etymology using Arabic and Syriac to which I cannot understand.

Hopefully by the end of yr.

No more G & H dictionaries for me unless the English is proofread

HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU
