I am a long time Swordsearcher user, but for a couple reasons am thinking of switching to E-Sword.   Has anyone ever done this and is there any way to bring my SS modules into e-Sword?  What about the e-Sword Ipad app, can you see the notes you created on the desktop version in the ipad app?

Hi

compare the modules you have for sword searcher to the modules on this site and download within e-Sword.

There is more modules for e'Sword than many bible software

You cannot see your Desktop notes on your iPad, unfortunately.

I'm not aware of a Sword Searcher to e-Sword conversion program. e-Sword generally has any content Sword Searcher has, the major difference being that the e-Sword content is free. The exception is copyrighted, commercial modules like the NASB.

Ok, this was actually all my sermon notes from several years in one module called mynotes that I want to bring over.  How would you recommend I do that?

It would mean exporting the whole module as HTML Document from within SwordSearcher(Advanced module maintenance), and working up that data  to make a module using T4 ToolTipTool(from this site).

In your main menu, User -> Advanced User Module Maintenance

A dialog will open so you can select your module

Then the "Advanced User Module Maintenance" dialog will open, where you can now export the data.

Ok, I don't have that option in my menu.  I guess it is only on the latest release of SS and I not sure I want to upgrade at this point.  I can only export as a txt.  Any way to make this work?

I think I could do that.............is there a way I can PM you that or email that?  What are  your thoughts on the differences between e-Sword and SS?
