American King James Version (AKJV) - with Strong's Numbers
Produced by Stone Engelbrite

This is a new translation of the Bible, based on the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word update from the King James English. I have taken care to change nothing doctrinally, but to simply update the spelling and vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could alter it doctrinally.

I am hereby putting the American King James version of the Bible into the public domain on November 8, 1999.

Michael Peter (Stone) Engelbrite

You may use it in any manner you wish: copy it, sell it, modify it, etc.
You can't copyright it or prevent others from using it.
You can't claim that you created it, because you didn't.

This version includes Strong's Numbers. The placement of these numbers is based on the KJV* version found at BibleSupport.com. found here: http://www.biblesupp...trongs-numbers. Red Lettering is based on former work on the AKJV, found here: http://www.biblesupp...r-edition-akjv/

There are three separate files! Which one is the one to download? I don't understand all the abbreviation. Can someone make this more clear for me? Thank you.

I could not tell which file I needed to download for use in e sword so I tried the one that said red letter. I could not find it in e sword so I gave up after that. ???

AKJV+ BBLX-2.zip is for the PC version of e-Sword 9/10 see BBLX
akjv+BBLI-2.zip is for Apple versions of e-Sword see BBLI
And the RTF file (Rich Text Format) is a source file that you can open with word processors.

I wish I could have this for mySword. I changed the BBLX to .bbl.mybible and it doesn't display well.

How can I convert AKJV+ BBLX-2 to 1.0?

I'm trying to use AKJV+ with mysword. I've done this in the past by changing the extension to .bbl.mybible but this mod doesn't work with BBLX-2 at for least for me.

I tried with Simple_Bible_Reader_v2.9, mysword tool and theWord and had no luck.

Has anyone being about to convert this to use for mysword on andriod?
