A Greek-English Lexicon by Liddell, Scott, Jones, Keyed to Strong’s numbers

This module is Liddell Scott Jones Definitions that correspond to Strong’s numbers LSJ being 50,000 plus definitions and Strong’s numbering being 5624 ish there are allot of definitions that are not used

a. Greek words that are capitalized are not defined ( there are exceptions)

b. Compounds, adverb, neuters. etc if no Definition was found I incerted the strongs number to the compounds, adverb, neuter’s etc.

when a definition was not found and it was not a. or b. I entered “No Definition Found”

Please also download the companion file LSJ-Info.TOPX it contains the abbreviations, bibliography, etc A abbr A Authours etc.

This is great, thanks so much! There is a little problem though - I'd like to import this into MySword (android) which means importing it first into TheWord, But when I tried, it said that this dictionary is "password protected" - is there any way around that?

Thanks so much for this module. Praise Yah! I wanted this.

Formatting is off, anyone else?

I cannot get the file to show up in E-Sword. Has it been removed?

Hi

after you download you need to launch the LSJ+STR-Key.exe this will install (so to speak) LSJ in the correct folder

then you should see it as a tab in the Dictionary window and the tab name is LSJ+STR-Key

If this does not work please be more specific with your problem

Hi

I'm working on an LSJ update

fixed verse reference

placing Greek helper removed

formatting improvement for locating definitions easier within the maze of book references and abbreviations

Thanks. However, a normal launch didn't work, I had to right click & select "Run as administrator" for it to work. I did it today.

P.S. I'm very glad to have this resource linked to Strong's numbers, and I'm looking forward to the update.

Thanks again

First, let me thank you for your work on this.  Second, an issue I have is that is numerous definitions, some Greek letters (in bold red in the example below) are replaced by a box in e-Sword (though they appear correctly when copied and pasted, as below).  Any idea what, if anything, I can do to correct the display?

ἀβαρής, ές, (βάρος)

I without weight, Arist. Cael. 277b19; ἀβαρῆ εἶναι ἀέρα καὶ πῦρ Zeno Stoic. 1.27, cf. Chrysipp.Stoic. 2.143, Plot. 6.9.9, etc.; light, γῆ AP 7.461 (Mel.): metaph., . χρῆμα a light matter, Com.Adesp. 158; παρρησία.. μαλακὴ καὶ ἀ. Plu. 2.59c; of the pulse, Archig. ap. Gal. 8.651.
