Hello Todd S,
Please try the option to see the various Downloadable Greek Bibles, provided to Rick Meyers, to be downloaded from inside e-Sword, for the variety of e-Sword for the version of device you are using. Perhaps those cross reference work better.
David Daniels who works for Chick Publications was not able to prove to his satisfaction that the story of an official Greek translation of the Hebrew text was actually made in Alexandria, Egypt, in the centuries before Jesus lived on Earth. The books of the New Testament were written and finalized in Koine Greek, in the first century AD. There were too many missing details, and details that did not agree with other historical sources. The possibility is that the Greek LXX was only produced in the centuries AFTER the Temple in Jerusalem had been destroyed.
Professor James Strong and his coworkers were on the Revision Committee of the Revised Version of the Bible - so his Exhaustive list of numbers of the words in the Common Bible (the 1769 KJV) was designed to enable one to find the references of English words used in the KJV quickly. In his very brief Hebrew - English and Greek - English dictionaries, he explained that these often contained his own conjectures and guesses of word "roots". He also mentioned that he expected that Theological students would have access in their personal library to more authoritative Lexicons that were often published in multi-book volumes.
The Author of The Holy Bible In Its Original Order: A New English Translation: A Faithful Version with Commentary", (2007, 2009, 2011), Fred R. Coulter, in his Appendix A, "Fourteen Rules For Bible Study", reminds us "As much as possible, try to understand the original Hebrew or Greek. But never try to establish doctrine or teachings by using only Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. Strong's can be helpful at times, but is very limited." That Bible "AFV" = A Faithful Version, is listed among the translations available in e-Sword.

I downloaded the .bbli version and though the Strong's numbers are there, the Strong's definitions do not display in the tooltip window when I hover over the number, nor can I click the number to see the definition show up in Strong's and other dictionaries I have, like it does in most other similar applications. Can this be fixed.
