I tried to update esword 12.2 to 13 on windows 11. My esword 12 disappeared (I think).
And, Esword 13 would not install.
This is a relatively new laptop with i7 core 11 or 12th gen.
Please point me to helpful resources.
Thanks
Chuck

Just so you know. This issue was solved.
Apparently, there was an old bad cookie or some archival page that was loading when I was using my Edge browser. My Edge browser was up to date with latest edition and updates. After clearing cookies, it worked.
It also worked to use a different browser and an Inprivate tab.
I did not think of using a different browser because I assumed the problem was at the site of the company handling the transfer of payment.
I would like to recommend that file attachments be moved from behind the "more reply options" button. I would have attached screen shots at the very beginning which would have settled the issue even quicker.
It was an unusual experience.
#41793 Difference between a .exe file and a zip file. How to choose
Posted by rebornID on 08 November 2021 - 08:46 PM
Well the subject line pretty much sums it up.
Sometimes I am offered two choices to download. an exe or a Zip. the zip is larger.
Is there an advantage to one or the other? Does one work better with various versions?
Is there a functional/operational or content difference.
Thank you.
