I'm now using Mac.
E-Sword opens on every desktop panel. Can I have it open on only one?
On PC I could open up duplicate e-Swords on the same desktop panel. Not on Mac. Or is there a way?

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean that e-Sword is opening up multiple instances or multiple copies at once in different desktops? When I launch e-Sword on the Mac I only ever get one instance. Some more details and maybe screenshots would be helpful.

Yep, I reckon he's talking the amount of instances.

I gotta admit at first he had me somewhat baffled and wondering what he was talking about. And it seems that he's not a Computer Geek, and doesn't have the technical language skills for us IT (Information Technology) Nerds and Geeks to understand.

@ lambsev

For you on your Mac thingy, it looks like you can have only one instance of e-Sword X running on it.. So, you have a case of "it is what it is," and I think as far as I am aware, and going by what modulist shared, you definitely are not going to be able of have multiple instances of e-Sword on your Mac.

So, if you enjoy the Power of multiple instances of e-Sword, and you miss it, I reckon you just might have to go back to a Windows PC. Why you switched to a Mac and cut yourself off at the metaphorical knees blows my mind.

Sorry bro, I refuse to worship the ground Bill Gates walks on... But I have an old notebook no longer supported with e-Sword to fire up if desired...

I dunno how far behind the times you are, but Bill Gates isn't even in the picture anymore, and hasn't been for quite some time. What you said there would be like me saying, "...I refuse to use worship the grand that Steve Jobs walks on," especially when the bloke is 6ft under pushing up daisies. You get the point! But that's getting right off topic. The actual point I was trying to make, was simply that of being able to have and use the multiple instances of e-Sword, which, if my guess it correct, something you quite enjoyed having. And if my guess is even better, I reckon you miss those capabilities, and that you use to use them when you were using a Windows based machine.

With that said, you can run e-Sword for PC on an Apple device using Crossover, which causes Windows based app run natively on macOS devices. Whether or not you will be able to have the Multiple Instance capability with that, I have no idea. So, I guess you can give that ago and see how well that works out for you.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).
