We are having a revival at Life Tabernacle Church 1135 Middlebury Street Elkhart, Indiana. Jason Pearcy will be speaking Sunday morning @ 11:30, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at 7:00. This schedule will be repeated the following week, with the exception, he will not be preaching Wednesday of that week.
He is an enormously anointed young preacher. I think this is the third time he has been at Life Tabernacle Church, and we have been greatly blessed every time he has preached.

My new bee packages are in, and I'm going with a friend, Jeffery Andringa to pick them up and install them in their hives.
After all the nice weather we've had this spring, here is today's forecast for the Bristol area:
Becoming mostly cloudy in the morning. Chance of sprinkles or flurries. Highs in the mid 40s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
This is almost a repeat of last years installation day weather, with the grateful exception, that last year we had pouring dow...

I found a recipe online for smoked eggs. . . You put the raw eggs (in the shell) in the smoker and leave them there for about 2 hours @ 225°f. The smoke permeates the shell. They are said to taste like you're eating your bacon and eggs at the same time. . . :)
I'll give it a try. Next time I cook something else, I'll put a dozen eggs on also. . .

Ok. . . We've got 25+ lbs of ham baking in the oven, and 15+ lbs of pork loin on the smoker with apple and hickory wood chunks. The 10 lbs or so of Polish sausage will go on after church. . . It works out to about 5 lbs of meat per person. . .Dr. Atkins would be proud of us. . .

What an enjoyable day today. Jakub spent the night. We had a relaxing morning, until Jackie took Jakub home, and I went on my bee rounds. I readied the hives that died, for the new packages of bees which will arrive in a week or so.
They come from California, and they must wait to ship until the weather in the Rocky Mts. breaks, such that there is no danger of the bees freezing when they cross the mountains.
I had planned on pulling a hive from a location that has not been successful t...

I received a phone call a few minutes ago, from Julia (Jakub & Allie's mom), who very politely and diplomatically. . .patiently explained to me that my decision to only have one 12 pound ham for Easter was quite a mis-judgment on my part. This disregarding the fact that we will have two 6-7 pound smoked pork loins and 10 pounds of polish sausage. . . some 35 pounds or so of meat, plus all the other fixings. . .for 8 adults and the grand kids. . .
What I hadn't accounted for (according to Jul...
