Books like this are worth a million because they actually validate what is in the Bible. I remember the arguments and debates around many of the places mentioned in Scripture to be shown as fanciful thinking. Perhaps one of the best examples was the argument over Uz having ever existed. When archaeologists found it were totally beside themselves with disbelief that such a place could have ever existed. But there it was all (despite there not being much of it left) glory.

Having such as this is an Apologist's essential resource, and one he cannot do without. And perhaps when it comes to just getting to know your Bible, I believe books such as this is excellent to have in your library.
