How do I view MySword modules?
Note: After you download the file to your PC or your android device, the file must then be moved to the MySword folder on your android device. If downloading directly to your android device, you may need to install a file explorer app to be able to move the file to your MySword folder if your device does not have one already.

This is the MySword format for use with Android devices.
Download the MySword formatted module named updv.bbl.mybible to your Android Device that you have e-Sword on.
Then open it so it installs into the MySword app.

PURPOSE:
To provide a modern version that retains accuracy.
To update archaic words and grammar.
To use new materials, such as manuscripts, to improve accuracy.
FEATURES:
Plurals Indicated:
Plus signs are used next to words such as you+ and your+ when they refer to a group of two or more. This is done to improve accuracy.
The Name of God:
The name "Yahweh" (a personal name for God) and "Yah" (a contracted form of Yahweh) are used instead of what is rendered in many versions as "LORD".
Bracketed Text:
Brackets [ ] are generally used to enclose words supplied in the translation that are not present in the original Bible text in order to make a passage more understandable.
Books of the Bible:
First Maccabees is included and reconstructed (included in the Book View not Bible View).
The Wisdom of Sirach is included (included in the Book View not Bible View).
The Epistle to the Greeks in included (Diognetus) - Uses the place of the Book of Acts so it will show in the Bible View.
The Book of Acts is no longer included.
The order of the books places the New Testament before the Old Testament; and the book of John before Matthew.
The Book of John ends at 19:35.
The Book of Luke chapters one and two are not included.
The Book of Matthew and the ending of Luke were reconstructed.
Gender:
Gender has generally been translated literally. Words such as man, woman, son, daughter, he, she, him, and her are generally left in the same gender as they were in the original texts. There is no overall effort to remove such distinctions or to make this a gender inclusive translation.

I am commenting on the underlying bible translation, not the bible module,who i appreciate the compiler's effort
Even with limited time spent, this particular version, i can not recommend.
The first reason is his removal of the book of acts implying it is not canon. The book of acts is the only existing record of the translation from the jewish ministry of jesus and peter and its early days and the start of the gentile ministry of paul. Regardless if it is written by luke or not, it belongs in the bible.
The second red flag is his logic behind word to speech. Im not saying its a horrible translation of the word, but rather his logic behind it is to incorporate a belief system of the word which is his interpretation.
I have looked slightly at the meaning of logos in second temple judiasm and i confess, while i dont understand it fully, i believe it has an fuller meaning than either i, or the translater, have fully studied.
We leave translation accurate, and allow the theologians to explain what it means.
