This policy is designed to accommodate unexpected changes or booking errors and allows travelers to make adjustments without financial penalties. It's important to note that the Air Transat 24-hour cancellation period is counted from the time of the initial reservation. After this period expires, the airline's regular cancellation policy, which may involve fees and fare conditions, comes into effect.
