Ok I suggest you start with a blank document in ToolTipTool and first add the define variables using the menu(3). Change the values of each one as needed. Now add a couple of verses, and save BBLX module.

Nope, it doesn't. I installed the 2019 Tooltip and it was fine. I then updated E-sword to v13 and 2019 Tooltip still worked. Then, I re-installed Tooltip Tool NT and "magically" all the issues vanished. :-) Thanks for the support.
