#14973 What Modules do you want for e-Sword

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I lovingly beseech you to spend more time studying God's Word than all other studying put together. I didn't say to not read anything else. I implore you to read God's Word more often than everything else. Let the Word of God teach you about doctrine. When it is not clear to you just keep reading. Pray and ask God for guidance and then be patient, steadfast and unmovable in your resolve to not be influenced by anyone. There are many "isms" and doctrines out there. Logically, if many doctrines disagree then the best that anyone could hope for is that only most of them are wrong. If God is the only one who is always right, (and He is), then all of the other doctrines must line up with His in order to be right. So why go anywhere else for truth? I encourage you to go to the source, your loving heavenly Father God. Don't try to rush it along by taking shortcuts. Be patient, the treasures that God has placed in his Word take time to dig out. Nobody can learn them all at once or even learn them as fast as they'd like. Just keep reading and one step at a time God's Word will be a lamp to thy feet, not a beacon for you to see afar off but a lamp to thy feet so that God can lead you one step at a time. How does a baby learn to walk? Well they don't start out running. So please be patient. Be patient with yourselves, with God and be patient with the whole process of learning because trying to rush it along will never actually speed up your learning but it can get you to take your eyes off of the next step which is the step that is lit by the lamp of God's Word.

With love in Christ,
