Hi, Patchword, thanks for that info. The light has finally dawned! THATS where the e-Sword modules are located. I copied to the HD and thats where they are now.

Hee Heee. Usually my 17 yr old grand nephew shows me this stuff, but he talks in a computerese jargon that is all but incomprehensible to me. Everything after "This is what you do..." becomes gobbledygook.

Hi JB, How does one back up the E-Sword modules? I always wondered this, since my 'puter crashed about two years ago and I lost all my files. Fortunately I managed to re-install my files from e-Sword again, but I wondered if somehow I could save this material.

I have an external hard drive and I sent the e-Sword icon to the hard drive, but I discovered that I had saved only the icon and not the content itself!

Erm....remember I'm seventy and my 'puter knowledge is just one notch above the level of A class Moron.

Wow! That was quick!

So. My Sword is a separate programme? Is it available for Windows XP desktop computer or is it only for mobile hand held computers?
