I updated to e-Sword X 6.3 some time ago.

Yesterday was the first time that I had the need to search on a tag and create a new custom one.

To my surprise, there were a heap of new Tags been added to this update, BUT every one of my custom tags has gone.

This represents years of study, creating custom tags and linking hundreds of verses to them.

Does anyone know of any way to retrieve them - maybe from a hidden file that is still in the system. I'm grabbing at straws here, but I'm desperate!

Not sure why e-Sword didn't protect the tags with this update as I've not had this issue before.

I've sent an email to e-Sword asking the same as above, but thought it worth asking here - just in case.

Nice to get upgrades, but plenty here in the current version to keep me going till the Lord comes

My comment may be biased as I'm due for a new computer and my present one is 5 years old and slowing  . Thing is, after 30+ years with PCs, I'm thinking of going Apple
