Hi there,

I would like to know why the pronouns for God and Jesus are in small letters in E Sword bible.

Thank you

Leonard....

You don't mention "which Bible" you are refering to....but I can tell you some Bibles are translated with Caps.... some are not. Its not an E-sword issue....but rather a Translation issue. For instance:

Trans w/ Caps>>>>AMP...HCSB...NKJV...NASB.........Trans w/ no Caps>>>>GNB...GW...NIV...NRSV.

Hope that answers your inquiry. (No one removes the Caps during the Module making Process)

Thank you e sword fanatic, the e sword version that i have is KJV and KJV+. I have checked all other KJV versions, printed and soft copies and other versions like NIV, good news, NRSV etc, they address the God and Jesus pronouns with Capital letters, only the e sword version doesn't, thats what surprises me. I am using e sword version 10.1.0 if you may. Pronouns like, He, Him, His etc are in small letters in e sword bible but not other bibles of the same translation. My question is any reason why they address in small letters and not capitals as in all other bibles, apart from the Watch tower version which doesn't as well.

By the way: It is very hard to do this without making errors. (I found yesterday 2 errors with the "His" and "he" after more then one and a half year of editing)

Leonard....

I checked TheWord....Blue Letter Bible....Study Light....and Biblia for the pronouns in the following Translations: KJV....NIV....GNB....NRSV....and I found no CAPS for pronouns used for God or Jesus.

If you have it may be because of copyright dates....as they may have updated those translations in some Bible Study Programs or Hard Copies.
