I am Schalk van Wyk and would like to express my sincere thanks that I could download the e-Sword software. It is such a pleasure to do research with it - a whole new world was opened for me! May you be blessed! When I read the note on the web that less than 1% of the people that download e-Sword actually say thank you and/or made a small donation, I just felt led to express my sincere thanks and made a donation. I too would like to express my thanks. I started using e-Sword many years ago, in fact I don't even remember the version number. About seven years ago I passed the information along to our men's group bible study, and most of them started using it. After v9, I suggested they all update, which most did. This is so versatile, and to be sure, would cost thousands if you had to purchase all the material. God really blessed us through Josh for putting this together.

I have one suggestion. If possible, can you put the topic headings in the bibles, like the printed version? Not super important, but since I'm not as knowledgeable as most, it would be helpful.

Some Bible files do contain headings, while others do not. For example, the following DO contain headings:

The Spoken English New Testament (highly recommended)
The NET Bible (the Premium version, available for purchase from Bible.org - highly recommended)
The Testimony of Yeshua (English translation of the Aramaic NT manuscripts)
Lexham English Bible (search for it here on BibleSupport.com)
