The defeat of Sen Richard Lugar (R-IN) is being touted as a "Tea Party" victory over a "liberal" Republican...despite the fact that Romney got more votes than the "Tea Party" Senate candidate. My self-vaunted intellect is, in the end, so shallow that I continue to be amused by those who are convinced of the value in "proving" the existence of God to those who believe not. "OK, I won the debate; I 'proved' that God is...(just like a math theorem)...now you must believe!" That's just way beyond me.....sorry. I'm stuck with the Gospel, stuck on the Gospel, me being one of the foolish things God has chosen.

To a book-person, the offerings of a re-printer called Solid Ground Christian Books are so exciting, however the results of trying to deal with them are disastrous. I've had good things to say in the past, but I recant, and seriously un-recommend them as in "avoid at all costs"...suggesting they change the name to "Shaky Ground"

Disturbed by more incidents of those who loudly proclaim the doctrines of grace blatantly failing to extend any of that commodity (grace) toward those who don't understand and/or disagree with the theology...very troubling "For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?" (1Cor 4:7)

No wonder I'm feeling old....my great-grandfather's 200th birthday is coming up in a couple months....

Bottom line is: I don't care if you're young earth, old earth, or middle earth. I don't care if you have age-segregated classes or not; I don't care if you're supra or infra; I don't care if you are a total abstainer from alcohol or a wine sipper; I don't even care if you sprinkle babies! All that is between you and God. I'll tell you this for sure: Unless your hope is in Christ and Him alone, you're lost.
