Community Status Updates

OK, I ordered Cheezies Pizza (over the phone using a WV number no less) and they not only remembered who I was, but asked what Jonathan Perkins & I were up to!! Too funny, but the pizza is cheap and good!

Nooooooooo! Kendra Whitten Blanton and I just finished off the last of the spiced tea and the pumpkin spice hot chocolate! At least it left us with a good taste

Today, putting together Christmas shoebox gifts for children in Juarez. Looking to start delivering them next week.

Just finished having our first wedding in El Paso! Truly some awesome people. We are grateful to be a part of what God is doing here.

Had an awesome Hanging of the Greens at the Embassy! Thank you to everyone who made out (especially to my FB friends Ariana Alaniz, Lupe Alaniz, John Hernandez, Caneise Ross)...you guys ROCK!

Texas and Dallas both win with last second field goals. Makes for an extra nice Thanksgiving :)

This Saturday - 3 to 7 pm - Hanging of the Greens! Come out to the Embassy, help decorate the church and enjoy communion with other believers!

Met with Randall Partridge (missionary in Juarez) this morning. Things are looking really good for us to start our training school in Juarez in January. Very exciting! We also pick up coloring books for the children's Christmas shoe boxes tomorrow.

Had an awesome Friday night with the Alanizes. Chico's Tacos was cool, we'll have to do that more often.

I finished editing the coloring books for Randall Partridge (missionary to Juarez) - now we're sending them to the printers so we can give them out in the Christmas gift boxes for children in Juarez.

A whole pot of Carne Guisada! And it's all mine!!! :) Excellent way to spend Sunday Night!!

Two things: 1) This IS one of the creamiest hot chocolates I have EVER had in YEARS!! (It's a gourmet Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate) INCREDIBLE.... 2) I need some help translating all our intern courses into Spanish ASAP...any volunteers??

What an incredible day! I have the possibility of adding 10 new interns this January from our Juarez outreach! We are also working with & helping a missionary with providing 1,000 orphans & children in poverty with box Christmas gifts!

What a day, the holiday season is coming too fast! Worked on the Christmas drama script with Jonathan Perkins all afternoon. It should be quite impressive and a blast for kids, parents, family & friends...if we can actually pull it off :)
