In this ZIP file you will find PDFs that are scans of Early English Bibles (Coverdale and Tyndale), plus Dictionary stuff on the letter I, as well as some of William Shakespear' writings. In the scans of the Ealy English Bibles be sure and read the foot notes also as they will show the letter that many thought to be a Capitail letter J is actually nothing more than a Fancy Capitail I. So when you see a J in modern Bibles in names it is most more than likely to be pronounced as a Y, E, or I sound, yet never as the modern J sound.
