#4051 the word bible module

Posted by garydavid711 on 26 November 2011 - 05:38 PM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

There are far more issues with Aramaic Primacy than the two I mentioned.

One of the first issues that comes up is the absence of early Aramaic texts. Basically nothing older than the fifth century. Fragments are notable by their absence.

The Western Five are conspicuous by the absence of Greek puns. The Gospels have the highest density of Greek puns. The Gospels do contain puns in the Greek, that are not in the Aramaic.

Whilst there are differences in the Aramaic texts, they tend to line up with each other, but not with texts from the Greek, Latin, or other Biblical Language Manuscript families.

if you read david bauscher notes in his NT there is no argument left that Aramaic ROCKS!

#4004 King James version 2000

Hi Patchwork!
I am with you there is nothing like KJV I like and Third Millennium Bible keeps all the poetic beauty. I think 2000 goes a little to far and NKJB is way to far.
TMB takes out all the Archaic words keeping the poetic musical connotations that make KJ the easiest to sing that is in keeping with the Hebrew and Aramaic that was the original script of the New Testament this helps bring about the spirit of the word. I can send you a copy of Dave BausherThe Original Aramaic New Testament in Plain English it proves with out a shadow of doubt the Aramaic was the Pure letter of the new testament. I found TMB FROM YOU have you look at it? I found another unknown KJ translation that i am using to build my own-really fun and i have learn so much more doing my own.

Gary's Peshitta New Testament

After much research and exploring the Dead Sea Scrolls. I now believe The Newer Testament was originally written in Aramaic the scribes penned in the other languages prominently Greek. 1.Knowing that the writers native tongue was Aramaic 2. Many Greek codex have variant readings because of the complexity to translate from Aramaic. 3.The Aramaic clears up many difficult passages. 4. Dave Bauschers New Testament notes is to convincing.
