#15607 Forum not letting me move an errant end-quote tag

Posted by Deof Movestofca on 02 February 2013 - 10:50 PM in Website Feedback

Except:

1) I did have text in between the two quotes;

2) The second quote that I had quoted from Katoog that was originally appearing has now disappeared; and,

3) When trying to edit the post, it will only allow me to add text within the last quote (see updated version of the post to see what I mean) and nothing after it.  If I press "enter" within the quote/end-quote frame, it simply creates another "Katoog said" box.

#15606 New Bible translations available online

Posted by Deof Movestofca on 02 February 2013 - 10:26 PM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

A few good resources that I have found for finding Bibles that can be read online and/or downloaded are The Bible Reader's Museum (which lists all three of those, although the middle one is under "Messianic Israel Standard Bible by Daniel Gregg. Published in 2011"), Bibles of the Past (which has a nice selection of English bibles of the past available for viewing and/or downloading, as well as a similar list of foreign language bibles), and the two old standbys books.google.com and archive.org.

#15584 Forum not letting me move an errant end-quote tag

In the post this link links to, I made two replies to Katoog, saw that the post was (and still is, despite all my efforts to correct it)  formatted wrong, and then switched to BBCode Mode to fix it by moving the end-quote tag.  I don't know if it's because of auto-save or something else, but when I switched back to regular mode, the tag returned to the wrong place.  Then I posted it and tried to edit the post, but the tag stubbornly refuses to stay where it's supposed to.

#15238 Combining two or more (similar) modules by the same original author(s) to red...

Posted by Deof Movestofca on 10 January 2013 - 03:43 PM in Tips for Module Creation

I'm sure right now those modules are being looked at by resource builders to possibly combine them

I would like to ask you if you know about single row tabs  If not

go to OPTIONS then RESOURCES at the bottom of the popup widow check the box DISPLAY TABS IN A SINGLE ROW click OK

at the right of the tab row there will be left and right arrows

Yes, I know about them, but that still doesn't solve the problem of having to scroll through a bunch of 5 tabs more than there would be if they were combined.  Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Deof I could only find 3 of the 6 the others have dead links found them in other title by author but there dead too

Sorry, I simply copied the links off the "Other Modules by the Same Author" section on the lower-ish right side of the page assuming they would still be good without actually checking them.

#15231 Combining two or more (similar) modules by the same original author(s) to red...

Example: The "Sermon Commentary From..." series by Charles Spurgeon takes, by my count, 6 .cmtx (the Books of Law and History, the Books of Poetry, the Major Prophets, the Minor Prophets, the Gospels, and Acts to Revelation), which means 6 tabs.  Combining them into a single .cmtx would mean only one tab, greatly reducing the amount of screen space the tabs take and making navigating between the series and other commentaries much easier.  So I was wondering/hoping there was an easy way to combine them and if so, how?
