What is the meaning of added numbers included in the content of the text?
And why are verse numbers with no content shown with a number without text, such as John 5:4.
In the NET Bible, for example. when the verse that is not included in the critical text is skipped, and not entered, then the numbering of verses does not stop at the previous verse number when listing the numbering of verses in the chapter.
I cannot access John 5:4 when using the "Bible", "Bible Compare" option in the Vatican Bible (VAT.bblx) module. Tested 2026-06-15.
