Raw transliterations from the Hebrew square script to a Roman script
Notes:
-I created this files for the 2014 version of e-Sword (v10.40) because I can use whatever Hebrew font I want even if it doesn't support cantillation.
-The bblx files work for MySword on android as well. Copy the bblx files into your MySword Bible folder on your android device.
-You won't be able to use Simple Bible Reader to convert the Hebrew bblx files into another Bible format. Use the txt files to format the text into another Bible format.
-The transliteration website I used had the ability to transliterate the Divine Name how you want which is why it is capitalized and Yeshua is not. All names would ideally be capitalized but that would be done manually and would take time. Thus the "raw transliteration"

- 06/23/25 Uploaded all 8 modules in bbli format. Modules are a zip file for quicker downloading.
- bbli module files will work with both e-Sword PC versions 11-14+ and Android, Apple, Mac versions of e-Sword.

Hi noir,
I am using Windows 11 on PC, e-sword version 14.1.0
I have your Salkinson-Ginsburg SG+ in my e-sword, however the hebrew fonts are not showing correctly (it's showing up like this: aAeAAaa) and so I was wondering if there is a hebrew font that goes with it that I can install in my e-sword for Windows? Would you be able to help?

Hi,
You can find Hebrew New Testaments available in bblx and txt file formats, including versions like the Modern Hebrew New Testament (2010) and Delitzsch's Hebrew New Testament. They come with pointed texts and raw transliterations into Roman script. These files are compatible with e-Sword (v10.40) and My Sword on Android. To convert these to other Bible formats, you'll need to use the txt files since Simple Bible Reader won't work with the Hebrew bblx files.
