Composed in Middle-Age France (1000 CE). Commentary on the Tanakh written by Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki (Rashi). Rashi lived in Troyes, France (1040-1105). Rashi’s commentary is an essential explanation of the Tanakh and resides in a place of honor on the page of almost all editions of the Tanakh. Over 300 supercommentaries have been written to further explain Rashi’s comments on the Torah. While quoting many midrashim and Talmudic passages, Rashi, in his commentary, states that his purpose is to present the pshat (contextual meaning) of the text.
This version includes only the English translation of the Books of Moses

Does anyone know of a good, English source? It seems some of the Genesis commentary (I was looking at Genesis 16 in particular) is cut off and the module is in need of some fixing. I'm also looking for ePub/PDF versions of the references, commentaries, and whatnot where possible. Makes for a nice digital library to see some more context or to just read the reference/commentary directly.

Thank you. I'll have to look at fixing it when my PC is repaired as I don't think the necessary tools run on Mac. Unless I just want to dive into raw SQLite. It's been a while since. I worked with a database like that.
