How do you change the books of the Bible to english

I've got a prayer request that is similar to the story told in the book of Job. It's almost like a selfish motive to want to be miserable when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt the only way to have burdens lifted is to turn to God! so please help me understand why his Bible has dust settled on it from not being moved for the past 2-3 weeks and has every excuse in the book to miss worship services.
