The thunderstorms this morning brought back good memories from living in the woods of Tennessee, and the spectacular thunderstorms. In Tennessee, I didn't have this massive, terrified dog trying to hide under my bed and staying underfoot to keep him safe, though. Bear is such a big baby!

Loves the way my little boy knows all the words to the great songs on Christian radio, and is always asking questions about the Bible. Yes, he's a "normal" boy in many ways, but he's not of this world in all the right ways!

We've spent the day so far doing laundry and cleaning the front and back porches and pressure washing the house. May not sound like fun, but I love family work days, especially relaxing afterward to the fruit of our labor. Early dinner with friends and church later will round up a good day!

Brain dead, but home after a really long work and travel day. Thank God tomorrow is a holiday!

Christians, read the lyrics of the songs you listen to. Do you want them stuck in your head or chanting from your lips? Is the artist a role model whose lifestyle you wish to follow, or support by listening to or buying their music? Do both the lyrics and lifestyle glorify God?

It can be stressful and frustrating to depend on others in order to fulfill your own work tasks, but God is faithful even when other people are a factor. Mostly by giving us grace and patience with them. Makes me wonder how often He has to do the same with me.
