#36800 TSK-Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Posted by EarlMelton on 17 October 2019 - 08:05 AM in e-Sword Modules / Resources

I see that now, but verse 23 and Mark 12:11 say *exactly* the same thing/words. That's why I was surprised they weren't x-reffed. Is that a word? :-)

At any rate, thanks for the reply.

#36797 TSK-Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Has anybody else noticed that the TSK does not cross Mark 12:11 to Psalms 118:23 or vice versa?

#35500 KJV bible that can pronounce words that are hard to pronounce

Posted by EarlMelton on 02 March 2019 - 03:05 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

I've not seen what you're looking for, but NSBD(T) and Holman Bible Dictionary (Both downloadable for e-Sword) give a lot of pronunciations. You may wish to download and check them out if you're not already using them.

#35294 Quick access to the 66 bible books without typing a search

Sorry, I didn't think about the possibility you could be using an OS other than Microsnot Windoze. Just assumed - Yeah, I know! - that everybody did.

#35281 Quick access to the 66 bible books without typing a search

Posted by EarlMelton on 08 February 2019 - 04:36 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

At the left edge of the e-Sword Bibles and Dictionaries windows, you will see a long, vertical, light-gray bar. At the top of this bar, you will see a vertical tab with an open Bible icon and the words "Bible Books" underneath the icon. Click on that tab, and I believe you'll find that for which you're searching.

Above that tab, you'll see a white text entry box. Click in that box and type in the first three characters of any book and the chapter/verse reference you want, then press the Enter key. For instance, if you enter "joh 3.16" (without quotes) and press the Enter key, you'll be reading what is likely a familiar scripture. Or you could use "2ti 3:16" (without quotes) and you'll probably read another verse you've seen or heard before.

God bless! I hope this helps.
