Hi,

Since the site went back online after maintainance a couple of days back, im no longer able to access biblesupport as the full site(mobile view only even after clicking full site view in the footer of any given page)on my mobile device(galaxy s plus android)Along side that whenever I try to accesss a module for download Im getting the following error:

*Parse error*: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in */home/ipboard/cache/skin_cache/cacheid_2/skin_downloads.php* on line *262*

Just wondering if the mods could help out, as I prodominantly access biblesupport via my phone and despise mobile site views.

#10869 How to convert ePub to RTF or xml or bblx etc?

Posted by hendo1986 on 13 July 2012 - 12:06 PM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

I thought caliber converts the opposite way...i.e to epub, not from epub to another format?I find the qualuty of ebook produced with caliber a bit substandard to be honest, prefer mobipocket. But Caliber also acts as a library and the details of the files can be easily edited at any time,it also has an inbuilt ebook reader...all of which make it a handy wee tool for zilch.

You mean ive had caliber all this time and not realised it can convert from epub to another format!!
You're saying other ebook formats but this chap is asking about converting from ebook to a format that will open in tool tip tool(i assume thats why he's asking)making caliber useless for the purpose he is needing it?

#14781 Poythress permission and Lightfoot request

Posted by hendo1986 on 19 December 2012 - 11:13 AM in Module Requests

Hi,
Ive slowly but surely been working on Vern Poythress  Revelation commentary ; The returning king. The commentary is made available freely as html on his website but obviously pernission would need to be granted before posting of a module format could go ahead on BS. I dont feel confident enough to contact Vern and ask permission without mucking it up so i was wondering if someone well versed in this kind of matter would be able to contact him for me. Potentialy id love to create modules of all the works available so it may be worth asking aforetime if permission could be granted for these titles aswell.
Secondly I was wondering if anyone felt up to compiling 'The works of John Lightfoot' Into a midule? Its five volumes and if I were to attempt it personaly...well lets just say it wouldnt be finished anytime soon:-D

Blessings to all,
Tony.

Thanks for you're reply, Im aware of of the above modules. Lightfoots works are considerably more vast than the above though. I stated previously that his works were five volumes in length, typo, they are 13 volumes in length. The scanned collection can be found here:

Answers From Genesis

To much of the scientific world today, the universe is a great mystery—and a fortuitous, evolutionary accident. Indeed the predominant model of the universe leaves the Creator entirely out of the picture. We know the Bible tells a much different story, however. This series of articles explores the creation of the universe as recorded in the Bible and examines how a great deal of scientific research—instead of contradicting the Bible—actually confirms the truths God inspired to be recorded in the Bible.
