APsit190 - Thank you so much for the rtf formatting information. I thought i would spend the morning trying to track it down. You've saved me some work with your generosity and I appreciate it very much. As I haven't, until now, done anything that required a knowledge of rtf formatting codes, you've given me a good start. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with those of us trying to learn.

jonathon - thank you so much for your reply. it was comprehensive and clearly written. i appreciate that. i will be using your recommendations, trusting in your apparent experience and my lack thereof. it's refreshing to find a forum where people can truly receive assistance when needed. when this project is finished, i would be more than willing to share it on your site if you think anyone would be interested. the jbs 1917 translation was released into public domain. thank you again for all your help.

Not sure if this is the right place or not. The module section didn't seem to cover it. I am having a problem making a Bible module using ToolTip NT. I could find no solution no matter how much I read the manual or how many forum posts i checked. I am working on an Old Testament module containing the 1917 translation of the Maseretic Text into English, translated by the Jewish Publication Society of America. As I adjusted the formatting for Genesis - Judges, everything went fine. However, the next book in this Bible is First Samuel (KJV structures have Ruth). I've identified 3 problems that I have to solve:

1) I need a way to re-map the Bible Books tree to reflect the structure of the Maseretic Text so that clicking on book and chapter will behave as any other module in e-Sword.
2) a way to add chapter footnotes since these will normally give the transliterated original Hebrew word being referred to.
3) a way to add Hebrew characters as headings in certain chapters (scattered throughout Psalms, etc.).

Can anyone more knowlegeable of e-Sword's capabilities than i am please shed some light on any of this?
