#36995 Topic Notes Auto Save

Posted by only2goats on 24 November 2019 - 06:10 AM

Is there an auto-save for the editor - topic notes in particular - or do you have to periodically click "Save"?

Thanks!

#34878 Text Colors Option

Posted by only2goats on 15 December 2018 - 04:21 PM

I'm using version 11.2.2 and I've noticed that the "Text Colors" option - "Options, Text Colors" -  has changed and only allows changes to the background and pop-up text.  Older versions allow additional options such as "Active Verse" "Red Letter", etc.  I discovered this because my red letter text is a rather faint purple instead of red.  Are all 11..2.2 versions like this or do I have a corrupted installation?  Page 34 of the User's Guide shows the dialog box I was expecting to see. I'd appreciate any comments on this.

#34755 Version 11.2.0

Posted by only2goats on 25 November 2018 - 06:11 AM

Does anyone know where I can get version 11.2.0?  I'm having trouble with 11.2.1 and .2 and I'd like to roll back to the older version.

Thanks in advance!

#34744 Problem with latest e-Sword versions 11.2.1 and 11.2.2

Posted by only2goats on 24 November 2018 - 03:35 PM

What's up with the extra hard return after "Paste into Topic Notes"?  It puts an extra line after every verse that pasted into Topic Notes.  This started in version 11.2.1 and remains in 11.2.2.  I really don't like this.  Is there a fix for this?

 Thanks!!

#30822 Editing topx file

Posted by only2goats on 05 June 2017 - 07:36 AM

Is there a way to edit an entire topx file?  In other words, open a particular topx file itself and edit, remove, copy parts of the text/data contained within the file.

One of my topx files - the one I use for sermon notes - has gotten huge.  I'd like to divide the contents of the file into individual topx files, perhaps by year, etc.

Since I store all my user files on a cloud drive, just syncing it every time I hit "save" takes more time and resources than I'd like it to.  I'd like to break it up into several smaller files and "archive" the ones I'm not using right now.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

#16713 Keyboard Shortcuts

Posted by only2goats on 24 April 2013 - 10:34 AM

Does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut (Windows, eSword 10.1.0) for "Paste into Topic Notes"?  I'd like something other than the right click option using the mouse.

Thanks very much!
