#32433 e-Sword to e-Sword X

Posted by Pops1 on 15 January 2018 - 09:22 PM

A few weeks ago I got a MacBook Pro with High Sierra 10.13. Had a PC with Windows 10. An older version of e-Sword (9.6 I think). Updated it as needed. I just bought e-Sword X 4.5.1. Can someone please help me put the notes and resources on here that were on there? Apple Support helped me convert files, etc. onto here and I see them in what's called 'documents' but I don't how to get them here and useable. The e-Sword Apple Converter I downloaded says this: You can’t open the application “convert.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS.

I sure hope I can get those. Appreciate any help. Thank You, Pops1

#21901 Next Chapter

Can anyone please help with this? I can go back 1 chapter in the Bible view by pressing F5. But the program won't go forward by using F8 or any other key I've tried. To go 1 chapter forward I have to use Bible Search, the Combobox or another way. I'd like to just get there. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike    please reply here: mcutini@live.com

I'm not very good at using the E-sword site, I'm too slow of a learner. I just read and study the Bible and some commentaries. I thank you all for the effort you put in here. I don't remember support for the earlier versions. This, I think is version 10.2.1.  I'll probably not even see any replies (if any) to this. And I don't have a question, just a comment. I had a commentary open, Gill, I think, then I went to Acts 15 and the 'chapter' info. and info. was there. The indicator (ex. point?) wasn't on the Gill tab though. So I looked for info. from each of the commentaries I have installed and each has info. on Acts 15 chapter info. but only about 3 have the indicator that they contain info. I have about 8-10. Thanks
