I have resolved this on my own. Many many trial and err. Once I saw it done, I thought why does everyone's helpful explanations and "go-to" links always say it's so simple and straight forward and yet they seem to use so many words. I think I get that. I tend to over explain things and often I see their eyes glaze over. That's a "tell" and I quickly get to the end.

This was resolved by accident. When I had the 4 windows showing, which I believe is how the program first starts, I clicked the thumb tack icon and they started populating that left side as tabs as I deleted them. That's probably the backdoor way of doing it but it works for me.

I did finally get this done. And all I read seemed to be so confusing and complicated. Actually if I'd known how I myself resolved it, it's really simple. Just ask! jep ":-Dx

Watch video which will help you how you can get Dropbox to work in e-Sword.
Trust you will find it helpful.
Blessings,
I appreciate you being so helpful. But there's a question left in my mind. Don't know if I missed it.
Basically I get install e-sword.
Then make an e-Sword folder in Dropbox
Then open e-Sword and go to where Resources is and point to the Dropbox folder?
* In fact I uninstalled e~ first, then re-installed and made the folder in Dropbox. Went to resources and pointed the file to Dropbox>e-Sword and nothings in Dropbox?
But how does that folder get populated? We've moved no files there?
When I install e- on my computer I get a folder under (x86) and the journal, topic, study and markup are not in that (x86)folder. They are installed in my user: Jack2>documents>e-Sword and then in that folder are all those folder that hold notes and journal entries I just mentioned
* Could you give me a little clarification? Also under Resources do we change the user files: I'm not sure how Dropbox will monitor them for changes if they are in my user folder? Thanks!
