As a disabled retired grandpa of 2 beautiful girls, the Lord has blessed me to be active in different areas of my church; Refreshing Springs. My wife and I have been member’s there for close to a decade now. One of my joys there is being a part of the children’s ministry. I love to share the Scriptures with the little ones, to see the excitement in their eyes as the teachings of Scripture come alive to them! Glory be to God!

Since I am at home a lot, I have time to be a part of a ministry out of Pensacola Florida; Mt. Zion Bible Institute. They offer great Bible course from great men of God of the past. People around the country will take these courses and will mail them back to Mt. Zion.  Then, Mt. Zion mails the lessons to people like me to grade them and then, send them back to Mt. Zion.  And then they send the completed course back to the student.  I have been blessed to be a part of this ministry for over a decade now.

I am also a member of ‘Bridgebuilders,’ a volunteer group with Open Doors Ministry.  We are trained to be a voice for the persecuted church. I go to different churches here in Western New York and speak on behalf of our persecuted brethren. Open Doors is an international Christian ministry which supports and strengthens persecuted Christians. They are involved in 45 restrictive countries and has offices in 20 more countries.

Did you know that over 100 million Christians worldwide suffer interrogation, arrest and even death for their faith in Jesus Christ with millions more facing discrimination and alienation.

Each year, between 150,000 to 165,000 Christians are martyred. Every day more than 200 million Christians in over 60 nations face some form of persecution.
